Learning objectives (Specific)

  • Identify user needs for a smartphone app for either a tradable concept or an app connected to the Bikebutler device
  • Translate the high priority story map slices into usage scenarios to be validated in POP functional prototypes
  • Validate POP prototypes for the story map slices in relation to problem, segment and product to identify a MVP, incorporating microinteractions.

Lectures

Lean methods related to UX user experience, reusable design patterns and rapid prototyping.

Group work related to week 12 assignment E

Monday:

  • POP prototyping: define how to validate the story map slices as smartpbone app iterations with a focus on building a multidevice experience across devices, changing contexts for collaborative control (consistent continuous complementary design)
  • Presentation : brief demo stating what goals, activities and task outcomes are captured in your prototype related to user or system initiated microinteractions

Thursday:

  • POP prototyping :    validate your POP prototype concepts with tradable / bikebutler / other groups
  • Peer review: present next iteration of your POP prototype app (max. 3 min per group)
  • Iteration: incorporate feedback and new ideas into the design and upload your prototype before friday at 17.
