Monday November 16th

08:00-08:30 Group-work and getting set-up
08:30-10:00 Peer group feedback (358 and via zoom as/if needed)
10:00-12:00 Continued group work with supervision (358 and via zoom as/if needed)

Morning sessions

There is NO morning session in the auditorium; a final lecture is planned for next week.

Peer group feedback

At 08:30 split into peer-groups (2 or in a few cases 3 groups together). Please try to use the rooms as suggested (so that you can find one another); in some cases you probably have to find seats outside (cantina, the corridor) once you have found your peer group(s).

NOTE: YOU MUST MAINTAIN DISTANCE as usual, so this will require some careful re-shuffling around tables but without moving chairs. I know it can be difficult, but do your best to participate. Some pairs may need to/prefer to use zoom; even if you're just sharing your presentation and material with people around the tables, it can be an idea to set up a zoom/teams/skype/whatever call just to share screens. Make sure you wipe tables and seats before and after the session. We will try to assist you as needed.

In the peer groups, do as follow:
  • One group present their project in 5 minutes. It is important to address 1) what clearly defined user needs for which specific market segment is addressed by the prototype, and 2) how the prototype, as a validated minimum viable product solve these needs?
  • The other group(s) takes notes and keeps time (only allow 5 minutes).
  • The other group(s) comment on 1) to what extent does the prototype address clearly defined user needs for a specific segment and 2) to what extent does the prototype as a validated minimum viable product solve these needs.
  • Also comment on the presentation and style in general. Were the 5 minutes used effectively? Was the presentation clear and/or how could it be improved.
  • Then spend 20 minutes to walk through the solution in more detail. Walk through at the Landing Page, the Lean Canvas, the User Story Map and the Wireframes and Executable Prototype(s). Consider maybe a typical flow/journey through the wireframes, guided by the USM. Give both positive and constructive feedback. What is unclear? What could be improved? How has it been validated? Where are the biggest challenges now?
  • Make sure everyone participates in the session; make notes and share your observations. Try to be constructively critical, but also point out good parts and be encouraging.
  • Now repeat the process for the other group(s)
The following peer-groups meet in 358#069 if possible (no more than 40 persons in the room):
  • 3 / 4
  • 7 / 12
  • 14 / 16
  • 17 / 22
The following peer-groups meet in 358#070 if possible (no more than 36 persons in the room):
  • 23 / 30
  • 33 / 36
  • 1 / 2
  • 39 / 40
The following peer-groups meet in 358#071 if possible (no more than 51 persons in the room):
  • 5 / 15
  • 18 / 21
  • 25 / 27
  • 29 / 31 / 34
  • 6 / 8
The following peer-groups meet in 358#072 if possible (no more than 48 persons in the room):
  • 20 / 24
  • 32 / 35
  • 37 / 38
  • 10 / 11
  • 13 / 19 / 29

The following peer-groups meet in the corridor next to 358#072 if possible:

  • 9 / 26

Once groups have found one another, feel free to move to areas also outside the room.

If anyone needs to attend remotely (e.g. due to quarantine measures), you can meet online in the TA zoom then please go to the breakout room with your group number and the feedback group number.

IMPORTANT in order for you to join the breakout room you may need to update your ZOOM. Go to the zoom start page, click on your user name (Top right corner) and click check for updates.

make sure to get in contact with your team-mates and your peer-group members (Slack likely works for this in many cases by DM'ing; you can find the list of members of other groups here)

Assignment week 11

For those who have not replied yet: we need your consent to be able to use your (anonymised) Peergrade submissions for a study about the ethics method. Please, provide your consent here: https://forms.gle/77R6znQV6ioFpE3s6. We are also recruiting participants for an interview (compensation of 100 dkk). If you want to join, just add this to the consent form.

Then, continue working on your project, using the methods you have learned throughout the course:

Iterate your project idea, each time validating with other groups or - better - with prospective users (when you can; check confidentiality with the stakeholders). Make sure you capture and document all artefacts and summarise findings and what you did, for each iteration (these may need to go into your report as appendices or summarised in the main text).

For each iteration, you need to create/revise your a 1) landing pages, 2) lean canvas, 3) user story map and 4) annotated wireframes (with micro- and backend interactions) as well as 5) your executable (e.g. Marvel) prototype.

In addition, 6) document what you have validated and how you did that.

Make sure you validate all elements of your idea, and not only your wireframes, through the iterations, so that

your final iteration at the end of week 13 can be considered a MVP candidate.

Hand in to peer-grade for the final peer-grade session by Sunday 16.00. We will set aside 30 min for peer-grading monday morning before group-work starts, but feel free to do the review also sunday evening if that suits you better. Note: Everyone will have only ONE other project to look at this time; please spend enough time on the review to give qualified feedback.

Make sure you validate all elements of your idea, and not only your wireframes, through the iterations, so that your final iteration at the end of week 13 can be considered a MVP candidate.
